I do not know why, but we always learn things better when we go through some hard times. Right now, many of us are wondering how to pay the bills and put food on the table. God says in his word,
Matthew 6:25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink: or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?”
Years ago people had to learn to be creative when there was a shortage of food or income. God saw fit to allow this woman to learn this lesson as well. I am not Rachael Ray or any other famous cook. My husband is a bit fussy at the table as well. But, God showed me some wonderful things to do in the kitchen. The recipes I am sharing, I do not own. I learned them along the way from someone else. If you see your own recipe, feel free to write or comment and take the credit. I will say this, if you own a computer, you can go online and find all sorts of inexpensive recipes. My heart is simply to make this easier for you to find a few. Plus, as always I magnify God for opening the eyes and preparing the meal with me. This page will be changing quite a bit as more recipes are added.
I am aiming this page towards those who might only have 30 dollars to spend a week on groceries. Yet, you still like a sweet now and then. These cookies are delicious. I make small batch for just my hubby and me. But, you can double the recipe for a larger family.
